A  new  type  of  jet  airplane  was  invented  in  1945.  It  enabled  war  planes  to  fly  faster  and  higher  than  ever.  Because ,  it  was  much  lighter  and  more  powerful  than  earlier  plane. 

　　It was  named  jet  airplane  by  scientist.  Because ,  it  blows  a  large  jet  of  hot  air  backwards  at  high  speed. 

　　All  over  the  world,   the  first  jet  airplane  was  made  in  England,  and  it  began  carrying  passengers   in  1952.  The  jet  airplane  flew  much  higher  than   petrol-engined  plane . At  this  height,  the  air  is  very  thinner  and  cold, so  the  airplane  cut  through  the  air  very  earily. 

　　But,  at  this  height.  The  air  is  very  cold  and  thin,  so  the  cabin  must  be  aircorditioned  and  must  be  at  normal   pressure  so  that  the  passengers  may  eat,  read  and  sleep  in  xomfort. 

　　In  the  future,  the  jet  airplane  will  fly  more  fast  and  more  height.  In  fact,  a  new  type  jet  airplane  has  already  reached  this  surprising.
