Have  you  ever  done  any  experiment？If  no，now  I  will  tell  you  how  to  do  this  experiment. Because I  have  done  that  experiment.

First  ，you  need  a  piece  of  paper  ，a  jar  and  some  water.  Are  you  ready？

　　Now  you  need  to  fill  that  jar  with  a  piece  of  paper  and  put  your  hand  on  the  paper.

　　Then，you  turn  the  jar  upside  down  and  take  your  hand  off.  Guess  what  will  happen！I  am  sure  that  you  do  not  know  ，will  the  jar  get  wet？No,  you  wrong  ，the  water  is  still  in  the  jar.

　　Are  you  surprised？Because  the  air  pushes  up  the  paper. It is  like  water  pushing  up  on  a  boat，the  force  is  strong  enough  to  hold  the  water. Air  is  heavier  than  we  think. In  the  experiment，air  pushes  up  on  the  paper，but  it  can  not  push  down  on  the  water，because  the  water  is  inside  the  glass. The  air  holds  water.
